Amanda & John — Whitechapel Projects Wedding in Long Branch
Some wedding days carry a certain ease to them—where everything feels natural, joyful, and exactly as it should be. Amanda and John’s celebration at Whitechapel Projects was one of those days. The day began at Ocean Place Resort & Spa, where soft ocean light filled the room and set such a peaceful tone.
Amanda was surrounded by her closest people while Alicia Digian (@hairbyleesh) created her gorgeous, effortless waves and Stephanie Nuzzo (@stephrosemua) gave her that signature soft, glowing makeup that lasted beautifully through the entire day.
Meanwhile, John and his guys were getting ready just steps away—laughing, joking, and buzzing with the kind of excitement that you can feel even before the ceremony begins.
A few months earlier, we had met on the Asbury Park boardwalk for their engagement session. It poured—one of those steady, soft at first then heavy stubborn rains. But instead of letting it slow them down, Amanda and John leaned right into it. They laughed, danced through puddles, and turned a wet, windy night into something magic.
That spirit—fun, relaxed, unbothered by anything except enjoying each other—carried right into their wedding day.
Their ceremony at Whitechapel Projects was intimate and deeply personal. Terry, their brother-in-law, officiated in a way that made the entire room feel close and connected.Tame Florals (@tameflorals) brought the space to life with lush, textural arrangements that added the perfect blend of romance and modern style.
When the reception began, SCE Event Group (@sceeventgroup) had everyone on their feet—and they never stopped. The dance floor was packed, the energy was high, and every moment felt like a true celebration of Amanda and John.
What makes Amanda and John so special is how naturally they fit together. There’s ease, humor, warmth—and they bring out the best parts of each other without even trying. Their wedding wasn’t about perfection (even though it absolutely was perfect); you could feel that it was about presence, joy, and connection. And that made the day feel beautiful in the most genuine way. From splashing through rainy puddles in Asbury Park to celebrating under the lights in Long Branch, photographing their story has been such an honor. Thank you for letting me capture this special time in your lives, Amanda and John. <3
